I grew up in Dedham, Massachusetts, graduated from Bennett College in Millbrook, New York and The University of Arizona in Tucson, with degrees in design and fine art.  As a military spouse, I have lived in 11 states in the U.S. as well as Germany.  I now divide my time between the Texas Hill Country and Alexandria, Virginia and am part of both vibrant art communities.

I have explored many genres including art  and traditional quilting, rug hooking, knitting, and drawing and painting.  I have found oil and watercolors to be my true passion.  I am a member and have exhibited at the Hill Country Art League, The Art League of Alexandria, Del Ray Artisans, Falls Church Art Gallery, and the  Cape Cod Cultural Center.
